I want to study graphic design too! haha anyways, the Art Institutes are VERY VERY good schools, my sister goes to the one in Boston for web designing stuff and it is just amazing. and we had a girl from there come to my high school to talk about it, you probably already have, but the website gives a lot of info. and I’m not some dumb high schooler you shouldn’t listen to, seriously AI schools are really good =]

Berklee College of Music is the finest contemporary music conservatory in the country. The equivalent for classical training is The Juilliard School in New York.

Their production program isn’t a freshman entrance program and they do indeed require an audition that is pretty extreme.

You do have an instrument – you have a voice. You might consider taking that route.

From every paycheck you have to pay 6.2% social security, 1.45% medicare and then Federal tax, State Tax and state SDI.
If you are Single with no dependant then out of your total yearly income about $8,500 are deductible. On the balance your Federal tax will be about 12% and Rhode Island tax plus SDI will be about 6% (assuming that you are working at near minimum hourly rate).

Full Sail is a technical school that is a “for-profit” organization. They are very expensive. Their advertising is very slick and well-done. Their credits do not transfer to other schools. Their program is very hard. Not everyone can take the pace.
Is it for you? Maybe. Only you can decide.
But a lot of people have been disappointed by their experience there.
Search the Internet for a lot of views. Use basic college search sites to see options. Search yourself for what is your best fit. Visit and compare at least 3 schools before signing anything. Look for substance, not hype. Never take what a salesperson (including a college rep) tells you as the complete truth until you check it out with people who have nothing to gain by telling you something less than the whole truth.

My personal feeling is that regionally accredited, state-supported or other non-profit schools are best for most students.
They are a good buy and allow flexibility. I recommend that anyone going into such fast-changing fields as those taught at Full Sail be very careful about getting a broad education. That high tech expensive piece of equipment that you pay a lot to learn to be an expert on will probably be completely obsolete in a year or so. You need to learn broad principles and techniques and how to think–transferable skills.

They just keep going to school that is one of the biggest wastes in America.

How much USA college have you attended it is very socialist orientated and I with going to my sister to sociology classes as a teen in the early 1970s
