Jobs in the boating industry Trying to get my foot in the door?




I am a current college student who recently received his 6 pack license and want to make a career out of boating after i finish school. My ultimate goal is to one day own my own boat dealership. I was wondering if anyone knew any good ways to get my foot in the door, internships of any kind or anything. I am very ambitious this is my passion in life and I take it very seriously.

    did you work at any boat yards ? start with the boat companies them self .. before you try to sell them ..

    Apply to Bayliner or one of the other major producers. Alternatively you could try some of the supply, service or crew boats with commercial application. Good Luck!!!

    i would get a job at a boat dealer doing various tasks. an owner must know all positions including parts, service, sales,delivery etc.try a parts job to get started and go from there
