What your degree is in matters less than your interest, what you know, and how hard you are willing to work for very little. If you're interested in getting into the industry, we assume, on the production, promotion and behind the scenes area, you'll probably do better to network, make contacts, and get some sort of an internship at a company that you would like to join in the future. That said, UCLA and USC do have pretty good film schools, if that's what you want to do. But remember, it's more about who you know than what you know.
